慶長9年に旅館業として創業し、明治7年からお茶問屋として業態転換した老舗お茶屋「あづみの茶 胡蝶庵」。
お茶屋の初代・三原次郎が、お茶の原料である荒茶を二次加工・製茶して販売する卸売業として創業したのが当店お茶屋の始まりです。
北アルプスの雪解け水が清らかに流れる湧水の郷・長野県安曇野市に本店を構え、現在ではお茶に合うお菓子の製造・販売や和喫茶(カフェ)の運営も行っております。
The Story of Kochouan, Passed Down Through Generations in AzuminoFounded in the 9th year of the Keichou era as a traditional inn, "Azumino Tea Kochouan" transformed its business into a tea wholesaler in the 7th year of the Meiji era.
The tea shop's history began when its first-generation owner, Jiro Mihara, established the business by processing and refining raw tea leaves, selling them wholesale.
With its main store located in Azumino City, Nagano Prefecture, a land blessed with pure spring water fed by the melting snow of the Northern Alps, the shop now also manufactures and sells confections that pair well with tea and operates a traditional Japanese tea house.
